A simple one. It’s been a year since I am in Hong Kong. Say “time flies”, say “I can’t believe it’s already a year”. Maybe. But I feel it’s been a bit more than just a round circle of year which has passed. I stopped counting time (I wonder if I really ever did that here). My year was counted by friends and beautiful people around me, great memories, challenges, visited places, attended events, small special moments.
Thank you all, my dear friends, for this year!
I have at least one special moment with each of you. With someone it’s a brief talk, a dance, a swim in a beach, a party, a cup of coffee/ tea/ soya milk/ wine/ rum and coke or any other free alcohol on ladies night, even širšių medus (insect honey), or home made dinner. With others it was a project done together, brainstorming, long work hours, an event and happy participants. It also was a jog in a park, squash or tennis at school, long sharing hours, quality time together, jokes, heart opening evenings, special movie nights, small secrets and imaginary friends.
Which one is your favourite?
Such a nice coincidence that during this (maybe) special occasion I have my family with me here in Hong Kong. My dear little sister and cousins finally came to visit me. We've been traveling, sightseeing, walking, tasting and observing life here intensively. What I saw and experienced here within a year, I tried to show them with this small period. Heartwarming moments. And they said Hong Kong is beautiful!
I think Vaidas, Laurynas, Ola, Thomas, Indre, Gintaute, Linas, Toma and all others who have visited me here would agree.
I feel comfortable and confident being. But mostly happy that this very first anniversary is just a milestone. Looking forward to what this fragrant harbour will be giving me more!
nice pic :)
